Which shadowrun class are you

Anything that I should try to avoid? I played the hell out of the Shadowrun series Shadowrun Returns, Draognfall, Hong Kong about a month ago, after buying them bundled. It was great fun. I think Hong Kong is actually my favorite Clisbdnet. Shooting things is good. You will find the game easier but also considerably more fun, imo, if your main character can shoot things well.

This involves raising Quickness, Ranged Combat, and at least one weapon skill. Weapon advice: Assault Rifles are really solid, Shotguns and Pistols are both pretty fun and good enough to be playable, SMGs are best for non-specialists who just need a little bit of firepower. The downside is dodge is still under Quickness. On the downside you may lose a number of conversation options by taking a combat focused character.

Charisma opens a ton of conversation options, with Decking a close second. Zara View Profile View Posts. In the end it's all how you want to play. Strategy ends up being the same pretty much no matter how you roll, because you'll fill the holes with other people that you bring along.

I have like a dozen characters, all built differently, but so far I have to say Rifle is the easiest that I've played so far, especailly if you carry both an assault rifle and sniper and at the end the minigun [str req 7] , you'll be ready for everything.

No matter how you build your character I highly suggest a bare minimum of 3 body, prefereably 4, and more if you are doing melee. On my one complete game I got Karma to spend plus the 3 extra for being human , so figure around that ballpark if you really want to plan out your spending.

I think the only other Ettiquete used is Corporate, but I could be forgetting something. Incunabulum View Profile View Posts. Dorok View Profile View Posts. Last edited by Dorok ; 7 Mar, pm. At the end of combat your most recent wound is healed, otherwhise the only healing is via medkit from your inventory I suggest using your teammate's medkits before yours as they are replenished for free after each mission. For your first playthrough, I'd recommend just making a gun-toting street samurai.

Yeah, it's basic, and some would say boring, but every spell and every ability can be covered by teammates—if not your crew, then by hire-ons, so you're not actually losing out on not having those things yourself. Also, the people who find gun platforms boring are usually the people who do playthroughs. Then, if you play the other story, or any other subsequent stories, you have a better idea as to what you liked from your previous playthroughs.

There's arguments about Blitz's capability in Dragonfall, but if you were going to make a Decker, I'd go with Dragonfall as your first story to run them in. A note on Summoners: don't. Just don't. It's not worth wanting to throw your computer out a window when your spirit turns around on you.
