What is the difference between Customer and End Users? By Radu Vunvulea May 12, In today post we will take a look about the Customer and the End User of an application. We will try to define and discover what the similitudes and difference are between them.
End User consumes and needs services brought by the product that you develop. In general, the source of revenue for customer is the end user that pays for this product. And in the end this feeds also the development team. We can see a Customer, as a middle man between End User and development team, because they are not the consumers.
In the same time, they play a crucial role. You shouldn't imagine the Customer as an external company, but is important to not have the Customer concept in the development team. We should have different teams and people. In retail scenarios, the target customer and end-user are often the same. But in large scale commercialization of new products and technology, the goal is usually to sell to an intermediary or wholesaler who will then re-distribute the product to the end-users.
The main difference between target customers and end-users is the dollar-power they have behind them. A great example can be found in the medical device industry. While many founders list the individual users of a device as their target customers, this is often incorrect. While the individual device users probably are end-users, the real target customers are the large organizations who will buy the devices in bulk.
For this particular example, that means insurance companies, medical provider conglomerates, etc. I think customer and client is the same ones who are getting the product done by a software devolper.
End User is the person who uses the Software. Client is who pay the money for the product after developed the product. Customer is the who buy the product from client.
End users many members who is going to use that product. Ex:A software company developed a product like cellphone many people using at that product so they all are comes under end users only. Today, when the number of smartphone owners is steadily increasing, designing a convenient mobile landing page is a must. Let's take Oysho, for example. This clothing company provides its users with an opportunity to shop from a phone. Its mobile version includes a clear-cut menu, a visible large call-to-action button, and enough white space. A visitor can swipe left to jump into the new collections of different clothes.
To see all new items, a new user just needs to swipe down. In a nutshell, the term "end user" is widespread in technology companies to define their employees who use products and services of different businesses.
