The machine does not print a paper reminder. You'll want to remember this information. We suggest downloading the Disneyland app and linking your tickets before your visit. There are advantages to linking your park tickets in the Disneyland app.
You can see all of your plans in one place. You can make cancellations. Keep hopping back for updates. But be sure to wait in the regular queue at least once for cool scenery and elements that are key to the ride's storyline. As for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, there may be a virtual queue in place for that ride when you visit. While the virtual queue is in use, there is no standby line available. Be sure to hop over to Tad's Galactic Guide to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland for the latest updates on how to access that ride, including the deets on how to join a Boarding Group if necessary.
You can use it any time that same day in that same park until park closing. Keep in mind that everything is shifted an hour earlier for Oogie Boogie Bash party nights. The ride closes for about an hour and then reopens at p. Share it in comments below! Related: Disneyland MaxPass Guide. It keeps saying Fall but I haven't actually seen it.
Any insight? Is FastPass being offered by Disney park? I called Doubletree suites by Hilton to verify if their online information correct before reservation online shows Fastpass but a representative told me that Fastpass is not available by Disney.
As long as you have a park hopper ticket with MaxPass, you sure can! Can you choose a FastPass at a specific time, say a late afternoon pass, when the current availability is at noon? Or can you only choose the currenty availability. You cannot choose a specific time.
You can only choose what is currently available. Sometimes MaxPass the paid, digital option offers cancellations, which are sooner. Hope this helps! Our oldest daughter wants to make reservations and go on rides by herself, but also wants to go on some rides with the rest of us. Yes, definitely! She can manage herself and also be part of your group. But she can also book her own with you and do her own rides too.
Just be aware if she books a ride for herself, it will appear in your app too but will be listed separately and not be linked to everyone in your party. You might have a party of 1 for Thunder Mountain as well as a party of, say, 3, for Thunder Mountain. If you use the app for scanning into rides, just be sure to select the correct one. Not a big deal, but it is something to be aware of! Have a great time! We will be visiting the Magic Kingdom in the peak season on the 27th and 28th of Dec and on both days the Magic Kingdom will have extra magic hours.
Since we are not staying in a Disney resort we are not entitled to these extra hours. So my question is what time should I book my first Fastpass? Will the ques still be shorter in the mornings during peak season with EMH? I have a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old and both of them still take afternoon naps, so my idea is to book all three my fast passes in the morning so that we can go back home for lunchtime so that they can have their nap and maybe return to the park after their nap.
I am just not sure what should be the earliest time to book the first fast pass and also how far apart can I book these tickets? During the busy time, we'd suggest rope dropping at a park that does not offer EMH.
We think your strategy sounds great! You can book FastPasses an hour apart, so if you're hopping in first thing, maybe plan to ride one or two rides during that first hour without FastPass, then hop to your three FastPasses before heading back for your nap. Times are offered from park opening to close, but are subject to availability. Then, in the afternoon, you can book more one by one in the park you're heading to. We are hoppy to help! You can read more about that here , but if you're interested in MaxPass, you can either purchase tickets that include MaxPass in advance, or upgrade through the Disneyland app once you enter the turnstiles.
Have fun! Or once I buy my ticket that day, I need to get Maxpass through the app? You can purchase MaxPass in the park using the Disneyland app once you're there. You can also purchase MaxPass ahead of time with a bundled ticket. We hope this helps! I purchased e-tickets and Disney already has them tied to my account, visible in the Disney app.
When I scan the e-ticket at the gate, will the paper ticket they give me have the same number on it? Will the app automatically know the new paper ticket assignment, or do I have to scramble to add that to the app to start using MaxPass? The ticket will have the same number. You will not need to do anything else if your tickets already have MaxPass. If you still need to purchase MaxPass, you can do it through the app with the ticket that is already loaded.
Hold onto the paper ticket so you can use that to scan in for rides! Hi there - great content. Question on the fastpass kiosks, are they all digital now or do you still need a physical ticket to inset to get your fastpass window.
Thanks for hopping by! Most kiosks still require you to enter your physical ticket, so be sure to hang onto it! Thank you for your blog and this article. Thank you. You just show up for those. Help We are right there with you - we aren't blonde, but we are green, and even we get confused about the system sometimes! Even if you are eligible to reserve another ride, you have to select a different ride until you scan in for the first ride.
If you have a hopper ticket and go between DCA and Disneyland do I have to purchase a fastpass for each park each day? We want to possible Fastpass the colors show and fantasmic the same night?
The trick with shows is that the times vary depending on the night you're visiting. For example, tonight Fantasmic! If you were heading there tonight, we'd advise you to start with World of Color, then hop to the later showing of Fantasmic! There won't be much time between the shows, though, so make sure you've got your walking shoes on!
You can check out the schedule of events here for more showtimes. Have a frogtastic trip! The only way to add this is through the Disneyland app on a smart phone; if she has a phone with her and is able to open up the app and link her ticket, she can upgrade from there. Do they not do the fireworks every night at Disneyland? Please tell me the fireworks will be on these nights.
The new nighttime spectacular, Mickey's Mix Magic, will run every night - but fireworks that accompany the show only run on select nights. You can find the schedule here , but hoppy news for you - it looks like Mickey's Mix Magic will include fireworks on each day of your visit : Enjoy! I purchased e-tickets to Disneyland through UT, but I am trying to figure out how the tickets would work for the FastPass kiosks in the park.
Is there a way to scan the barcode from a phone or printed e-ticket? Your e-tickets allow you to go straight to the gate. Upon entry you will be given physical tickets that can be used for the FastPass kiosks. Thank you so much for this amazing blog!! So so helpful. Do you recommend we get the max passes? Are there any hotels that get access to FastPass 60 days in advance? Thank you so much!! Great question! Great information. Have been to Disneyland in the past but there are some great tips here to help us maximize our time.
Is it possible to get a fastpass prior to entering the park? If not, sounds like MaxPass would be a bad idea to use for that day. Just ordered tickets today, have confirmation and read where you enter all the members of your party. But where? Lots of instructions but no buttons to push ; Help please!
Enjoy the planning process Can you get a fast pass for fantastic or WOC using maxpass, or do you have to get the traditional paper fastpass? We have an infant and 7yr old with 4 adults.
Would Max pass be advantageous? Seems as though its primarily for more of the "thrill rides" yet we would get the photo op advantage. I thought I read the Max Pass cannot be used for Fantasmic or other shows like that- is this correct? We find the MaxPass worth it for the photos alone! But with four adults and a 7-year-old, we think you'd absolutely get your money's worth through all of the time you save not waiting in line.
I'm confused on one thing. Just not the same ride twice in a row until time indicated? Which is it? You can collect multiple FastPasses within the given time. When going on the same ride twice, you have to use the first FP first before making a new reservation to go on the same ride again. Our experience is that through the app We havent been able to get an additional fast pass until we have used the previous one. Is this different in any way if you go pick them up in person?
You always have to either wait the designated time allotted to you, OR use the previous FastPass before getting another.
